so things are settling in here in denver. i've been coming across more old friends. and making some new ones. it's been a very busy few weeks. i had about a dozen visitors come down from the midwest. we did so much! camping, white water rafting, hiking, went through rocky mountain national park and estes park, garden of the gods, colorado springs, fort collins, boulder, we saw bjork at red rocks, reggae on the rocks, went out at night, often. it was a good time.
now the dust has settled, and things are starting to look up in the world of design work. i've had a three pieces commissioned to me in the last month. and a whole lot more coming in the next couple months. a little taste of my design has gotten out in denver. and people all say that they love it because it is so different from all the usual denver design. and it's true. everything here in denver looks exactly the same. one main company does all the flyer design, and all the freelancers are trying to mimick that design style. so hopefully i'll be able to bring something fresh to the table. and it will be nice to get back to designing and getting paid decently for it.
there are a few other major projects/prospects coming to light, but i'll wait until there's more detail to mention that.
